Daemon Tools Lite

Since 2000s, DAEMON Tools is known as powerful and professional emulation software to work with disc images and virtual drives. Times change, but DAEMON Tools remains a fan-favorite imaging tool. Meet its new version with even more professional features and time-tested system interface.

DAEMON Tools Lite is a slimmed down version of the more powerful Pro app, but it still gives you the ability to add up to four virtual drives to your machine. You can also create basic disk images and compress them to keep all the information you need accessible without taking up a ton of space on your hard drive.



DAEMON Tools Lite supports the following IMAGE file types:
  • BlindWrite images (*.b5t, *.b6t)
  • BlindRead images (*.bwt)
  • CloneCD images (*.ccd)
  • DiscJuggler images (*.cdi)
  • APE images(*.ape)
  • Free Lossless Audio Codec images(*.flac)
  • Cue sheets files (*.cue)
  • Standard ISO images (*.iso)
  • Compressed ISO images (*.isz)
  • Media Descriptor files (*.mds)
  • Media Data eXtended (*.mdx)
  • Nero images (*.nrg)
  • VMware Virtual Disk Format (*.vmdk)
  • Virtual PC Hard Disk (*.vhd)
  • TrueCrypt — Virtual Encrypted Disk (*.tc)
How to mount Image in LITE:

  • Right Click on the "Daemon Tool" icon in the taskbar.
  • Select "Virtual CD/DVD-ROM"
  • Select "Set Number of devices", note that you can add up to 4 drives

Now you will notice 4 virtual drives created in "Computer" window.
  • Again Right Click on the "Daemon Tool" icon.
  • Select "Virtual CD/DVD-ROM".
  • Select "Device 0 [Drive Name] Not Media.
  • Click on "Mount Image".
  • A Window will appear to browse the image file you want to mount!
  • Click on "Open".
